    Our AHA Deodorant has 5 fabulous totally natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids, we like to call them our little Super-Hero's, they are Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Tartaric & Citric Acid.    These AHA's are derived from all natural sources; Bilberry, Orange, Lemon, Sugar Cane & Sugar Maple Extracts.  

    These AHA's are our active odour control ingredient, they slightly change the pH of the armpit to create an environment that the odour causing bacteria can't survive or thrive in.  These little super-heroes are also saviours for those ingrown hairs + hyperpigmentation, as well as excellent at increasing skin hydration.  

    Glycolic acid reduces the build up of dead and damaged skin cells mixed with sebum, one of the root causes of ingrown hairs,  by speedily shedding/exfoliating off the inflamed cells surrounding the ingrown hairs, it enables the hairs to reach the surface much easier.  By preventing and removing skin cell buildup on a daily basis, this also prevents further ingrown hair formations. 

    Lactic acid also helps exfoliate the build up of dead skin cells, as well as keeping the skin moisturised and feeling less dry.  It stimulates collagen renewal and can firm your skin, it also aids in the reduction of Hyperpigmentation (dark spots or age spots).

    Malic Acid works its way into the lower layers of the skin, it is able to clear the pores and also rid the skin of dead skin cells. It also reduces, pigmentation and scarring along with helping calm and reduce irritation.  

    Tartaric Acid is an antioxidant, with the ability to protect your skin from the harmful ravages of free radicals, (just like super-hero's) such as those that can come from exposure to the sun’s rays.  It also boost's the exfoliation ability of Glycolic and Lactic acid.

    Citric Acid, is ideal for all skin types it Helps to unclog pores, targets the skin’s hydrating support matrix to reduce the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles, it helps to even skin tone, brighten, soften and smooth the skin.  

     

    How it works

    Our formula uses fruit derived alpha hydroxy acids to gently lower the underarm pH. This creates an environment where odour causing bacteria cannot survive or thrive, keeping you fresh from the source without blocking pores.

    Each variant is bicarb free, aluminium free and made with skin loving natural ingredients to provide effective odour protection with daily comfort.

    For pregnancy and ultra sensitive skin, our Fragrance Free option contains no essential oils and no added fragrance, making it the gentlest choice in the range and suitable for mums to be.

    I love this deodorant. It goes on smooth, smells fantastic. It really does work. Just remember that you’ll still sweat so don’t expect dry armpits, but you won’t smell either.

    Has to be the best natural deodorant around. My partner loves the Oak Moss + Myrrh scent and the effectiveness of the deodorant is fantastic. I still feel the occasional sweaty armpits (which I’ve gotten used to) but there is no BO smell that goes with it.

    No stank

    After developing an allergy to the roll on I’d been using for over a decade I found myself seeking a solution. I’ve been impressed by how well this works in tropical climates, though reapplication might be needed on particularly hot days. I have found the stick crumbles a bit, but I might try storing it in a cooler spot. The perfume isn’t overpowering and smells lovely. Pretty happy!

    Oak Moss + Myrrh

    I tried this recently, for the first time, and really love the fresh light fragrance. We’re just into Australian summer and, well, so far so good 🤞
    In the past I have reacted badly to natural deodorant and, my underarms became red and itchy. Frank and Bare had not caused any issue so far and I’m not noticing any odour or excessive underarm moisture. This is fantastic as I much prefer a natural product.
    I gave a 4* review (rather than 5*) because, although I love the zero waste packaging, I find putting the lid back onto the stick really tricky and a wee bit annoying in the morning rush. The inner tube sticks, and doesn’t slide back into the lid very easily causing a little bit of product to get shaved off (and wasted) each time. In the last two days, the inside of the applicator tube has fallen apart too.
    Whilst this issue obviously doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the deodorant, it definitely could be improved as I’m worried that the packaging will have totally fallen apart before I use all of the stick - which isn’t ideal coming into 41° days!

    Two weeks in and...

    So far so good, the Deodorant is a lovely consistency especially for us with hair under our armpits! And two weeks with no smell. The only downside is you have to be careful putting the lid on.
